How we are funded
Last verified:
Medical Cannabis at Work is funded by the publisher and earns revenue two ways: clearly-labelled advertising placements, and self-serve document toolkits. Nothing on the editorial side is for sale.
What we sell
Advertising placements. Featured employment-firm listings ($200/month, one per side per state), industry hub sponsorship ($150/month, one per hub) and testing-provider listings ($100/month). Every placement is labelled as paid on the page where it appears, and a human reviews each one before it goes live.
Document toolkits. The Worker’s Rights Kit ($39), Dismissal Response Kit ($79), Employer Policy Pack ($299) and the PRO tier ($499). Full contents are shown before you pay. The free tools — the quick check, the six-question risk check and the policy gap check — stay free.
What is not for sale
Editorial coverage. No placement buys a mention, a favourable summary or a topic, and nobody can pay to have a case, a guide or a state page changed, softened or left unwritten. Advertisers have no advance sight of editorial content and no input into it.
Who we do not take money from
We accept no money from medical cannabis product companies, clinics or prescribers. Advertising prescription medicines to the Australian public is unlawful, and a site covering workplace testing cannot be paid by an industry it writes about.
Why we publish this
This site covers drug testing, dismissal and policy — areas where a reader needs to know whether a sentence is information or an advertisement. The site is published by a small independent operation; placement and toolkit income keeps it running without handing it to anyone it covers.
